specs:

  • Performances customized for each site. Variables include length of show (2-4 hours), canvas size, performance orientation, lighting/projection needs.

  • 3-hour load-in/setup/soundcheck.

  • Sky backline: If within driving distance, we travel with all necessary amplification/equipment except PA and monitors; when flying, we need additional amplification, and backline. (On request.)

  • Tony: Within driving distance, artist brings large custom-built stand-alone easel to be assembled/disassembled on site. We may request 3/4-in birch ply cut to 75" x 48" for the easel. When flying, artist will consult re: possibilities of your space, and requests crew support for easel construction + paper installation.

  • Lighting for the artwork area, symmetrical scheme.

  • Optional center camcorder mount above drawing area, live-stream feed to projection on nearby wall, raw architectural surface, or stage screen.

  • Documentation: Where applicable, presenters may contract a professional videographer and photographer to document the live event in process and the final artwork installation. Usage rights of the remaining photographs shared between presenter and artists for non-revenue-related usage. Decisions regarding video, video edits, and usage will be negotiated. Contractors must agree to turn in raw files of their documentation and delete all sources.

  • Storage/Shipping: The finished artwork is property of the artist. If possible the venue will provide temporary storage and cover costs for appropriate lading requirements, crating and shipping the artwork to the artist’s studio address.
